Sales at a new condo building in Tokyo’s Tsukiji district started this month.
Apartments within the largest condo building to be built in Tokyo's Tsukiji district for more than a decade have been released for sale.
Set for completion late next year, Atlas Tsukiji is an 11-story building located just behind the Tsukiji Hongwanji temple and a 3-minute walk from Tsukiji Station.
Comprising 161 apartments, the project is the first development of more than 100 units to be released for sale in the Tsukiji address since 2009.
The site was originally home to many wooden, densely packed row houses, with h36 of the original landholders set to receive apartments in the new development.
In the first round of sales, 50 two and three-bedroom apartments ranging from 54.59-88.61 square metres (587 ~ 953 sq.ft) were made available.

A total of 1,685 requests for sales brochures have been made since the sales website opened in July 2019. The facade was designed by Atsushi Imai of Archi Site Mobius.
The lobby will feature glass art by Mari Noguchi, and wall art by Nikko, with residents also able to enjoy a rooftop deck and lounge with views of the skyline.
Construction is scheduled to be completed in late October 2021, with apartments delivered to buyers from late November 2021 onwards.
