Developer Tokyu Land Corporation announced electric vehicle chargers to be installed in all parking spaces, a first in Tokyo and surrounding prefectures.
On December 14th, Tokyu Land Corporation announced the development of Branz Kamimeguro Suwayama, a nineteen unit condominium complex with Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers installed in each of the parking spaces that comes with each unit.
This is the first condominium in Tokyo and the three neighboring prefectures to have EV chargers installed in all parking spaces.
Public EV chargers are lagging behind the amount of EV's on the road, hence the increased need for privately owned chargers.
The property is a six minute walk from Naka Meguro Station on the Tokyu Line, and is located on a hill in a first-class low-rise residential area.
The site area is 2,154.48 square meters, the total floor area is 4,661.80 square meters, and the building is a reinforced concrete structure with three floors above ground and one floor below.

The units will be on average over 150 square meters with ceiling heights of 2.6 meters. In addition to two toilets, a dressing room, and a double-bowl wash basin counter, there is also a dedicated delivery box next to the entrance of each unit.
Floor plans range from 2 to 3 bedroom units, with unit sizes between 127.24 to 188.46 square meters.
Ten units have already been sold in the first phase. The second phase of sales is scheduled to begin in mid-January 2022, with the number of units to be sold and prices yet to be determined.
Construction is scheduled to be completed in early November 2022, with delivery scheduled for late January 2023.
