NTT Urban Development Corporation announced on November 30th that the company has recently completed the land preparation work and began construction for its subdivided freestanding home project Wellith Court Azamino
NTT Urban Development builds two distinct Wellith brands; Wellith Park which are large scale subdivisions numbering hundreds of homes, and this Wellith Court series, focusing on medium size subdivisions.
Located in the Aoba ward of Yokohama City, Wellith Court Azanimo will be 11 south facing 2-story homes that will each sit on land areas of 125.06 to 135.06 square meters.
The floor plans will be either 3 or 4 bedrooms depending on the lot with a total usable floor area of between 100.00 to 107.21 square meters.
Pricing has not been announced at time of writing.
The homes have been designed to meet the needs of the new normal, with a highly private terrace space that can be accessed directly from the living room, a home delivery box, and hand washing facilities around the entrance. Enhanced communications connectivity will be installed within the subdivision and each home will have a dedicated remote workspace built as well.

The homes will be built to earthquake resistance rating level 3 standards, the highest resistance level obtainable and the same seismic resistance level required for fire and police stations in Japan.
The houses will also each be equipped with Panasonic’s ENEFARM power and heating generation unit. According to Panasonic’s website, “ENEFARM is a system that can generate electricity at home using city gas or LP gas as fuel. Moreover, the heat produced during power generation is not wasted and is used to produce hot water.”
Wellith Azamino sales are scheduled to start in early June of 2022.
