On March 22nd, The Real Estate Transaction Promotion Center announced the status of REINS Nationwide Usage Report for February of 2022.

Overall Breakdown (Both Sales & Leasing)

The number of new property listings for both sales and leasing in February was 357,213 listings, down 5.6% Year-on-Year (YoY), the second consecutive monthly decline. 

The number of contracts reported decreased for the eighth consecutive month to 52,704 (down 9.1% YoY). 

The total number of registered properties was 838,038 (up 6.5% YoY), marking the seventh consecutive month of overall growth.

Sales Listings Breakdown

The number of new listings for sale decreased for the 23rd consecutive month to 84,288 (down 21.0% YoY). 

The number of sales contracts reported declined for the eighth consecutive month to 14,916 (down 10.3% YoY). 

The total number of registered properties was 298,777 (down 5.3% YoY), a decline for the 20th consecutive month.

Rental Listings Breakdown

The number of newly registered rental properties increased again to 272,925 (up 0.5% YoY).

The number of reported contracts fell for the first time in three months to 37,788 (down 8.6% YoY).

The total number of registered listings increased for the 21st consecutive month to 539,261 (up14.4% YoY).
