Below is a map that details sold freehold condos for the month of September, 2021 in Tokyo’s Minato ward.
Leasehold condo sales data has been excluded from the compilation.
The data was sourced from REINS and placed manually on Google maps.
The map is best viewed on PC or tablet. Mobile browsing is possible but the information is easier to digest with a larger screen in a web browser window, not the Google Maps app.

No. They are all the transaction records that were recorded in the REINS system but that should not be interpreted as a complete ledger of all transactions.

Real estate firms pay monthly access and property search fees to REINS and one way to reduce those costs is to publish more transaction data.
That said, the system is still voluntary so not all transactions are recorded. Usually the data is thinner around marquee areas and properties that are higher in budget.

Yes, however it was compiled manually from REINS and while great effort was made to ensure accuracy, there is a possibility you could find a mistake.
One example is the spelling of the building name in English. Effort was made to check each record with English language real estate sites to find an easily searchable spelling, however there are some cases where that confirmation wasn’t possible.
In these cases we took our best guess. The Japanese building name has been included in the data to eliminate all doubt as to what specific building the record is referring to.
