The Tokyo ward of Shinjuku will welcome Japan's first-ever Kimpton brand hotel in October.
New York's renowned art and fashion scene is the inspiration for Japan's first hotel under IHG's Kimpton brand.
Set to welcome guests from October 2, Kimpton Shinjuku Tokyo will unveil 151 design-led guest rooms, three meeting and event spaces, a health and fitness centre, and a chapel on level 16 doubling as an immersive art gallery for exclusive exhibits.
Dynamic and eclectic dining experiences take centre stage, including a relaxing lounge & terrace bar and an all-day New York-inspired deli café, The Jones, for morning espressos or local craft beers.

The opening of the new hotel is part of an extensive global rollout of Kimpton Hotels & Restuarants, which will include Bali and Paris in April 2021, and Hong Kong and in Malaysia in 2023.
According to IHG, the Kimpton ethos is built on enabling heartfelt human connections, brought to life through its ridiculously personalised service style and touches such as Wine Hour, a hosted nightly wine hour for guests to gather and connect.
