Second-hand apartments in Tokyo are attracting increased prices according to REINS.
For the past six consecutive months, Tokyo unit prices have increased, as a total of 3,233 second-hand apartments sold across Tokyo.
According to REINS, this is 7.4% down from the previous month, but up 3% from last year.
The average selling price was 34, 420, 000 Yen which was an increase of 2.4% from the month prior and 2.4% up from last year.
Other statistics show the medium unit size was 60.42 sqm with the average property age being 20.46 years old.
In Central Tokyo’s three precincts of Chiyoda, Chuo and Minato, 209 sales were reported which was 2% up from last year.
The medium unit size was 58 sqm with the average property age being 15.71 years.
