Furniture for cats is now officially a thing, with Japan's Okawa City using scaled down versions of the real things to promote its traditional crafts and skills.
A campaign designed to promote the furniture-making skills in Okawa City has featured furniture for cats, including tiny sofas and beds, which are scaled down versions of the original items.
The feline furniture is manufactured using the same techniques and skills used to make regular furniture.
The cat sofa has been designed and built by Hiromatsu Furniture, while the cat bed is created by Tateno Mokuzai.
Okawa City is home to more than 150 furniture manufacturers, and is well known for manufacturing furniture made from kiri, a light, strong type of Japanese wood.
The purrrfect furniture will be exhibited at Okawa City's tourism centre, Okawa Terrazza.
The campaign has been designed in the hope that it will go viral. So far, so good...
