Over the past 12 months, Toyosu Station on the manmade island of Toyosu in Tokyo Bay has seen the highest number of apartments listed for resale in the greater Tokyo region. According to Tokyo Kantei, there have been 3,720 apartments listed for resale in the vicinity of this station accounting for 22.7% of the total apartment stock in the neighborhood. The average apartment age was 11.3 years.
In second spot across greater Tokyo was Kachidoki Station on a nearby island with 3,068 resale listings, or 18.92% of the total stock. The average apartment age was a relatively new 9.8 years.
There are currently 290 apartments listed for sale around Toyosu Station as at November 2018, while Kachidoki has upwards of 300 listings.
Hiroo Station saw a total of 1,640 listings, accounting for 19.34% of total stock in the popular expat neighborhood. The average age of an apartment listed for sale in Hiroo was 24.3 years.
The data is based on apartments listed for sale on the resale market between July 2017 and June 2018.
